CLS 550 W218 airmatic
I have an airmatic issue with my 2014 W218 that is extremely strange. Basically what ever triggers the air compressor to turn on and fill suspension is not functioning. The Fuse, relay, air compressor, pre-fuse box, and valve block are all new. One thing I did notice is that the suspension rise button behind the sport/comfort mode button does not have any power so my guess is the entire Airmatic system is not operable. I want to bring it to a shop but no one will tow it because the tires are obviously hitting the body so I am stuck.
Thank you in advanced for your suggestions.
Also what is the best scanner tool to purchase get and rest codes.
Thanks.

Associated fuses are f68 rear SAM (trunk) & 'suspension button group' f12 front SAM (engine compartment).

I just checked the BC racing website and they only make coilovers for RWD cars but not for Airmatics. Strutmasters makes Merc kits but last time I checked not for the C218

there's a set on ebay that is specific for airmatic.
IMO the non airmatic and airmatic will all fit, some of the coilover companies just don't bother to confirm. But according to some people who have installed coilovers, they are stating it fits.
I'd definitely swap out the absolutely USELESS airmatic for sure. It's completely useless. the sport height is not low enough for you to need to raise to clear obstacles, so having that 15mm of adjustability is completely useless. This is another stupid german gimmick feature that causes more trouble than it is worth.
