Comand Help Needed

I was installing the wireless CarPlay from Road Top when I ran into problems. After getting it installed, I started it up and had a black comand display. I removed everything and put it back to stock and still have a black comand display. When I run the Star diagnostics, it confirms that it cannot communicate with comand. The radio works (cannot see the tuner of course), Star diag has a number of errors related to the comand, including microphone 1 and 2 not working, display not working, and comand controller now working. I have tried:

Removing fuse 11 for a couple of minutes
Inspecting all of the connectors for bent pins
Disconnecting the batteries for 3-4 hours
Charging the batteries
Clearing all codes with Star

It is almost like there is a wire harness that I did not reconnect. I did not take a picture of the back of the radio before disconnecting it so I don't know for sure if something is missing. I have searched through the comand mount area and not found an harnesses that are not connected.

Any help on where to troubleshoot next would be appreciated.

@toones , have you completely removed the unit to confirm it's not a glitch in your comand that is actually causing this? I don't see this step in your troubleshooting steps.

I connected three of these boxes and every time I got myself wondering why I end up with black screen - it's always the ldvi connection that I somehow manage to mess up (it's unnatural to me the way they ask you to connect it). So this was 3 out of 3 cases I had with the box... One time was because of the wrong dip switches setup (with Roadtop's unit it's 3.6.8 ON).

@amgs63dxb , Thank you very much for your response. I have completely remove the Roadtop system from the car and still have no command screen display. I took it to MB and they checked the basics (fuses), but wanted a little over $700 to continue diagnosing (removing the dash, etc.). The MB hourly rate here in SoCal is $220/hour, so I stopped them and will continue to try and diagnose myself.

I have gone through some of the Xentry diagnostics, checking for power at the display and Comand. All good.

I am just not sure what/where to check next. I was thinking of picking up a display on Ebay and trying that, but I don't know if the displays are required to be adapted.
