CLS550 strange ride height issue, front too high

Have not posted here in years but I am at a loss for a strange issue I have. 2013 CLS550 4matic is what I drive now, I lowered the car end of December with airmatic lowering links. The front height was off from left to right a hair and it always bothered me so last night I finally had some time to adjust the links (rear height is perfect). Since I was going to be messing with the links my plan was to drop the front a little more while also evening both sides out. Long story short the front left now only wants to go up. A buddy and I took the link on and off made all sorts of adjustments and it does not matter, that side is now sitting higher than it was with factory link. I am beyond confused. I am not sure if the level sensor on that side is completely confused now and cant calibrate correct height or what.

The car just hit 90,000 miles, next month will be one year of ownership and I have not had one issue whatsoever. Any insight is appreciated, thanks !

2012 Mercedes Benz CLS550
This may not be what you want to hear, but it is what it is. I bought a 2012 cls550 a couple months ago with 80k on it. Used cars am I right? Seems I got a great price because both rear air struts are leaking and the links are not moving freely. $2200 ish for the parts, labor ain't a deal to say the least - Arnott replacements have mixed reviews so OEM it is. Anyway to your dilemma. Part of the labor cost is alleged to be re-balancing and setting the heights after the struts are replaced. Presumably you need the Xentury scanner to do that? This is just a guess, and my issue is the rear not the front. But as both are seemingly computer controlled systems my money is on the computer / electrical not the mechanical side of things. And before the entire forum starts harassing me about why i didn't swap out these struts myself - i can only say logistics became an issue, next to the parts cost the labor isn't that dramatic. Anyway that's my guess. I was eyeing up xentury systems on ebay, looks like about $1000 for some not quite licensed tech and some very well guarded info may be it. Curious to learn how you worked it out?
