performance cam upgrade

performance cam upgrade
was thinking about camming my cls550 if possible. i feel like most performance cams i see online are for ls engines and i haven’t been able to really find any for the 550. anyone know a good performance cam that’d fit?

Its not a small or big block chevy were there are tons of performance parts available.....
I doubt you'll even find performance cams available for the M278. I don't think anyone races them competitively or hot rods them like a Chevy as the M278 is a like a Swiss watch you don't mess with like that. Realize there are two cams per head, so a total of 4 cams, imagine the cost if they were available and added any HP.
Just turn up the boost another pound and you'll get way more performance than cams would ever provide if the factory left any performance on the table. If you're feeling sporty and have money to burn, just put bigger turbos on. Just make sure you have the octane to support the added power.
