2014 W218 CLS 350 Weird Locking Problem
Hello forums, how are we all?
I'm having a weird problem with my CLS. When driving, the internal lock/unlock buttons do not function, the car also has stopped locking automatically when driving (which it used to do). In addition, when I finish my journey and exit the vehicle, I have to wait 30-60 seconds before the keyfob will lock the car eg, get out of the car, close the door, press lock on the fob, nothing. wait 30-60 seconds, press lock, car locks.
I've replaced the main and aux batteries as I was getting lots of undervolt errors via Xentry. Have cleared all stored codes and nothing has come back yet the reoccuring error in the stored codes was:
990915 The output for actuator motor 'Additional door lock' has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to positive or an open circuit
Does this mean I have a faulty door lock actuator (which i assume is the bit that pops up the lock indicator in the door). Is there any way to tell in which door?
