I have seen them on many cars around Vegas and they do seem to work very well. From far away, maybe more than 20ft you can't even tell that you have the clear film on there. Only problem is once up close, especially on black, the piece that goes along the hood is very noticable and not that attractive.

Completely agree. It's a great thing to have if you put on mostly highway mileage to protect against rock chips and anything 18-wheelers kick up, yet I'd personally pass for cosmetic reasons alone. I just saw the clear bra on a black Lambo Murcielago and it ruined the front of the car from up close.

I still wanna get rid of those clear side strips by the back wheel-wells let alone a clear bra. Anyone take those ugly things off yet? I know they have them on the front of the rear-view mirrors as well.

*sigh* - too easy but I have too.

I've never liked bras - anytime I see them on something hot I tell the owner to take it off. They're just not meant to have bras on them.

I put a clear bra on my 2001 E55 , silver. and do not think it looks bad. Better than getting a lot of stone chips. The edge can collect wax, but not too hard to clean it out of the edge.

Just to make sure we are on the same wave lenght, the clear bra is attached to the paint is not taken off to clean. You can wash and wax it like the paint. It is the same film that Mercedes is using in front of the rear wheel wells on my CLS 55 for protection against stones from the wide front tires. Because it is attached to the paint, you do not have to worry about water that might get under a fabric bra and mess up the paint.

Good for you! You mean the kids or the breasts? The beauty of the latter is that you can swap them like tires, different sets for different seasons
