Sup everyone. Been over at the w211 forums for the past year with a heavily modded e500. My brakes went a few months ago and the dealer finally swapped out my car with a 06 cls500. Anyways, looking forward to modding this thing asap. Heres a few pics

Congratulations! Is that the Ash interior? Or is it just lighting making the black look lighter? The Gloss Laurel almost looks like "Black Chrome" in the pictures from here. Sharp!

 

The interior is charcoal, probably the crappy lighting.

congrats! our cars are identical...V1 and all! except i have no front plate.

oh, and i dropped mine a bit...but i'm sure you'll be there soon too.

 

I wasnt suppose to have a front plate since I have FL registration, I made it very clear to my salesman I wasnt signing for the car if they drilled holes. So what do I see when I get there, holes in the bumper. Anyways the dealership gave me an IOU for a front bumper which will be installed on Monday morning for the mixup. It just looks god awful with the frnt plate. Do you guys notice people literally almost crashing while jocking the cls. Ive had the car for 24 hours and couldnt tell you how many thumbs up, horn honks from other mb owners, dirty looks, and people almost crashing off the road while getting there first glimpse of the CLS. I think people have no idea what the hell it is, especially from MB. I was with someone tonight that was like I had no idea at all that mercedes would even put that out, they really outdid themselves this time.

fazooley, what happened with the E500? Did mercedes end up buying it back regarding the SBC failure? Please let me know.

i was in fazools aka frankie halogens cls the other night and its def a neck breaker, no one knows whats up with the cls. before seeing fazools cls i only saw 2 other cls's in nyc (1 in staten island and 1 in brooklyn), its pretty exclusive

Yea what a ball breaker; lol. Please steve rescue me and find me a set of xenons already; lol. As for the E500 regarding some others posts, yes they finally stepped up and bought the vehicle back. It took constant harrasing for 5 months, and just when I actually gave up they gave in. I guess some things are just meant to be.
