DVD w/ MP3's

I read this in the CLK forum...

"By the way your friend can also use DVD's with MP3's in the center Command slot. That will give you 4.7 gig in songs. Just be sure to use the joliet file extensions and remember that the Command will only see a maximum of 255 songs per folder. Good luck!"

Has anyone tried this in the CLS commmand??

Sheesh 05CL55

You've got quite a collection of cars there. What do you do with them?

Check the W211 forum... the CLS is just an E-class with a different body. There are a lot of posts on how to get it to work because a lot of people have trouble.

On the CLS-500,

The single feed command player will play Mp3's burned on DVD and CD.
The multidisk changer will only play Mp3's burned on CD.
I tried it, it works!

PS.....Natalie, is your SL black with out of state plates that have a very very suggestive phrase on it??

There must be a different format requirement or something because I have 600 mp3's on a DVD in 1 folder that I just pulled from my 05 CL55 and put it in my CLS 55 and it will not read it. I'll try some other tests and see what the heck.

Natalie, on your search did you happen to find more info??

Just a guess, but could the command on the 55's be different that the 500's?
The DVD I used also had folders and the folders showed up ok.

We need more girls on this forum man so there is less focus on poor Natalie.

Big Kahuna, she as cute as the photos or what's the score? We're gonna have to ask Natalie to post more pics of HER with her Mercedes in the future...LOL
