Probably a stupid question but...
It's not stupid at all. It's factory installed option but you can add on later: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...t=tire+monitor

Thanks!
Sure not a standard in CLS. You need to install sensors in 19's or 20's. See below pictures. This is one of the factory option that I really want...

Multifunction display in speedometer face can be scrolled via steering-wheel controls to operate and display various menus and vehicle features: resettable trip meter and outside temperature indicator, digital speedometer, Maintenance System, low-tire pressure warning system and engine oil-level check, radio station, CD player/CD changer,1 navigation system route
Is this something different????

Yes, it is the same. Our multifunction display can display all these. But we need the option in order to do that.

Please accept my apology! My understanding about TMS in my ex-E W211 was an factory installed option about $1,200 and it is on screen display like disctronic that you can view 4 different corner tire pressure in the display while we drive. I was under the assumption since E and CLS share almost all the same things, I thought they would be the same thing as well. I WAS WRONG. After Natalie post I ran to the car and play around YES, we do have that but it is definitely different than the W211 E. I am not 100% sure how it works but I think when we start the car it will ask to make sure it is the correct tire pressure then it asked you to confirm. Then I guess it will alert us when the tire pressure drops while the car in motion. I just try to look thru the manual but I can't find any info so far. I will call the dealer and ask them tomorrow.
John, If you change the wheel then I think the TMS sensor of the wheel is gone. In order to activate it, I think you need to get the sensor from the dealer and install them to your after market wheels. PLEASE don't take my words since I am guessing all this now. Call your SA or sales to confirm.
I guess I need to stop being smart A** :p
Sorry!
