CLS on 20" GFG w/ Carlsson C-tronic **FINALLY**
Alright, once again its time to do the CLS the injustice of trying to capture its true beauty in mere photgraphs. Its been said once, its been said a thousand times over, you MUST see it in person, especially after mods! Stay tuned for more!!!

giving it a few days for John87699 to see how his went, if he sees any chips or adverse reactions...thanks john for being the guinea pig on this one!

fazooley took his off too but unfortunately (as you may have read) his transmission died and his cls is in the shop.
im curious as ive never been to chicago, how are the roads over there? i would have to imagine you get the same, possibly more snow then we do in nyc - how is the pothole situation? right now, its pretty bad here - pothole city

Theres a lot going on around this module now, better for its own thread. But, mine went in easy, installers have done it before. Havent had any probs yet, and I love the adjustability, front and rear independant with rotary adjustments, not 3 step setting like others. im giving it a few days with some friends in the car to see if i have any rubbing before taking it lower.

Hot as can be Adam - love it!!!
As for the film, already took the film off last Friday the day I got the car - peels off like nothing - all of the custom shops are doing it here in LA the day they come in now. Should peel right off - just don't leave it on like half a year.

i knew u did a week ago, do u have any chips or nics yet? the plan is definetly not to wait too long, i do not want any discolloring, or a silver shark fin should i take it off a year from now. the car will be in the Chicago DUB show May 1st, so im like 75/25 on removing it before then. 75% in favor of yankin it! let me know how your doing so far, take a good look please!

thanks for the compliment! im waiting for "bling" haters to start knocking me, but the wheels REALLY fit the car nice, i dont think they look foreign or forced to fit the styling of the CLS.

It won't hurt anything - take off a little piece by the back door just for piece of mind, but I'm 99% sure you'll be fine - I've talked to 3 people who have done it out here at the shop already besides me and no bad effects from it thus far.

Yeah - maybe - haven't gotten any in my first 300 miles - funny hting is i'm getting more stuff kicked up on the front fender...lol. I had to drive through an unfisnished road with gravel for 100 yards the third day I owned it and not a single chip. I'd repaint the rear doors every year if I had to just to avoid that nasty yellow film.
