Why are some people calling their CLS an '06 on their signatures when they've already taken delivery of the car? Shouldn't it be '05?
PS. Love the car but don't agree its a couple, to me that's reserve for a 2 door.

the coupe issue has been beaten to death. in actualality, the true definition of coupe states nothing about how many doors it has.

Some of the car nowadays states a year ahead as the production year, I beleive this is more a marketing trick hints that make the buyer feel they are ahead of the game... Beside MB, Lexus, BMW and others are using the same ideas nowadays.
Regarding coupe issue, it has been discussed many times already, feel free to do a search and I'm sure you can able to find the answer you are looking for. Bottom line is I am buying my car because of the style and the comfort but not the name. If you don't agree after all, feel free to call it anything you want, how about LS instead CLS
But I will still call my car as CLS.
