CLS 500 on 20' HRE 840R. Pictures.
I promised a few people on here to post pics once I get them on CLS 500 Lowered (thanks to Steve and Dean) about 1 3/16 in the Back and 3/4 in the Front. HRE 840R 20's, 9 inches front, 10 inches back. Bridgestone PS3 tires, 245/35 - 275/30. Only other mod on the car so far is the AMG rear lip.
What I regret is going with 9 inches on the front wheels and not having the ability to go deeper then an inch on the wheels. After discussing the issue with a few others including HRE they said the front can't go any deeper.
I'm also thinking about going with the Quad Exhaust AMG kit, other then that I can't think of anything else right now to keep the car looking simple and neat!!
Thanks to the all members on the forum for all the input and help..

nice. thats one major reason why i didnt go with HRE myself, they do not get as agressive on the lip. With the GFGs i got, i was able to get 2" lip in front and 4" in back. yours sill looks sweet, ive bascially done, and plan to do the same mods; wheels, drop, exhaust, deck lid. enjoy it!!

On Speed channel tonight earlier, they were working on two CLS500s. One was silver adding Lorinser body kit and 20" wheels and the other one was black and I forgot what they did for it but new wheels combo as well.

they pulled back the driver's seat so Marcus Gamby (DENVER NUGGETS) can sit comfortly, love the car but not so hot for the rims. IMO

Bashy,
Did you have to modify the control arm above the front tires to get the 245/35 to fit? As i know that size is 1 inch larger in diameter than stock. Any other types of handling differences or ride due to the larger diameter tires?

No I didn't have to modify anything on the car for the tiers. The ride is just as before except for the fact that they are such low tiers resulting a louder ride.
