Had a little accident!!
Was reversing and didn't see this pick-up truck..who came out of nowhere.
Anyway, no harm done to his truck.................but when I looked at my bumper it was covered in nasty black scrape marks. Unbelievably, all came off apart from a very small 1 inch long by a few centimeteres wide scratch/scrape mark. Perhaps not noticeable to some, but definately to me.
cannot remove this. Any suggestions? Have a Pewter CLS500 and was wondering if matching paint(where would I get this) would make it worse..or is there something else I could carefully use to at least get the black mark which appears to be within the scratch..........removed? Thx.

I would almost bet it can be buffed out as long as it didn't go through the clear coat.. Smudges and shallow scrapes usually come out perfectly. Go seek out a VERY high quality detail shop and let them look at it. I highly recommend a shop that buffs with 3M products.
See if you can get us some close pics...
I'm in Orlando. If you were closer I'd look at it and could tell right away.
Let us know how it goes..

If it won't buff out You may want to look up one of those good bumper/paintless dent repair shops.(check out references first and what types of paint they use. Metallics are hard to match but some of these shops can work wonders) We had a couple of hit and runs on our bumper in parking lots on the old Sterling Gray Bimmer and had it repaired at a local shop called Bumper Medic. They used the same factory paints and it was a perfect match. Good luck hope it will buff out.
