How has everyone's CLS been treating them?

Happy camper here so far. No regrets. Have been away for a while traveling. Finally able to put a few miles on the car. Just love it and 0 problems.(Other than I haven't got the windows tinted yet and it is brutal in the desert heat) Was on the Strip and a tourist flagged us down to take a picture of it in front of the Forum Shops at Caesars this past weekend. LOL.
Spotted this in Monaco: After being in 7 countries in a month Unfortunately, it was the only CLS spotted outside the States. Looks like it had been Zainoed.

What a shine!

I love those Euro styled wheels. Anyone know where to get them?

Those are the "standard" wheels I have on my USA CLS500. Have had 2 "check engine" lights (only a feature of USA cars) and a recurring ESP fault which takes out the cruise control. Santa Barbara dealer was unable to fix. I have an appointment in San Franciso (350 miles north) next week.

Sold 06 CLS500. SL550 09. SL550 2013. Own C6 Corvette heavily customized garage queen 2005.
Apart from my little accident mentioned previously and I have a friend who has a buffer, so we shall see how that goes, and apart from a couple of electronic issues............love the car...........possibly nitpicking but....

1. Drivers seat creaks occassionally
2. Meant to ask this before on this board, but it irritates me that the wiper on the drivers side does not fully retract flush...in other words when using the wipers, the drivers side stops short by about 2.5 inches, therefore causing smear marks................anyone else have this issue on theirs? I asked Service Dept and they said it was normal.
3. Air-conditioning noise from start, sounds like concord taking off!!

Positives................................Think the gas consumtion is excellent....I did 1800 miles recently...mostly highways but a fair bit of in town stop and go and averaged 21.5.

Up to 3700 miles....when is one supposed to change or add oil? The manual suggests that the computer will tell you these details????

p.s. Used my V1 for the big trip I just had and it saved me on at least 8 occassions. I have not hardwired it as have a fairly heavy tint on the front and it just would not stick. Although a bit messy, decided to simply place on the dash with double-sided tape and this appears to be an excellent position for front and back arrow detection, considering the back also has a dark tint..........I say messy as the telephone type cord hangs over...........will have to eventually do something about this.

The car goes great though and love the smooth accelleration, even at over 90mph

6k miles - no problems - love the ride - talked to a Lexus salesman today who was drooling over it (he used to sell MB back in the day - said he got out when MB quality dipped a few years ago - kinda got the feeling he was considering returning).

245 front/305 rear. They've been great, no problems at all, I've even driven to Vegas (300 miles one way).

Thanks, I wish I could go that wide on the SL, I could use it to put down all that power to the ground. I've got a 10" rear wheel with a 295 tire. See "The stable" in my sig for pics

Wow! Excellent. Just finishing washing the car now hanging out with some other car nuts at a local coffee joint.

Give me a shout if you head back up this way. The drive to/from Vegas can be both brutal and fun sometimes especially when you detour and get your kicks on Rt 66 in Kingman.
