Can you turn off the Radio when Nav is on?
I do not know if this is a problem or not and would like some input from forum members. Everytime I turn on the Nav System, the Satellite radio or regular radio comes on too. Is it possible to turn the Nav on without the radio or is it wired to have everthing come on at once?
The dealer said it was normal, but is just doesn"t seem right. Any thoughts??

By turning the radio volume down, then you can not hear the navigation system voice. I just would like to know if this is a malfunction or normal for this system. Thanks

..........you can put your stereo first in CD mode, but have no CD in the CD slot or your Cd changer. Then activate the navigation. The car's audio always defaults to the very last audio source you were hearing before navigation was activated.
.............Alternatively, you can go to the options menu in nav mode and swictch your nav voice to maximum relative to other audio sources. This way you can turn the stereo volume down to an acceptable level for the nav voice and barely hear the stereo for other audio sources.

Hi - Try using the MUTE button. Your nav voice should still come through. Also, the volume controls for NAV & Radio work separately so this is another option (i.e. adjust volume when NAV is speaking to adjust NAV voice; likewise for Radio mode).

MUTE buton will do. IT works separately for stereo audio and nav audio. press and hold when NAV is speqaking and will mute NAV, pres anytime when stereo audio is on and will mute stereo audio
