Today, the MB Dealer replaced the left camshaft solenoid with updated solenoid per DTB S-B-03.30/08j. I know that this is an old post, but here is my question:
Based on the above list, can you really take it to the dealer and ask them to replace all items that pertain to your VIN#, or are the repairs only done once occured?

Thats a good question. I just bought mine about a month ago. A 2006 CLS500 with 61k miles. Out of warranty. But arent these bulletins still covered if they werent done? I'm interested in the 722.9 tranny codes flash bulletin.....

Only Recalls & Service Campaigns are covered out of warranty. DTBs are normally only covered during initial factory or extended warranty however, one may request goodwill repair if a specific VIN, engine #, and/or production, etc. range applies and part modification is documented to correct problem.
