hey guys here's the new ride in Barolo Red MEtallic with Cashmere Nappa leather interior.. i know this wheel is very popular and everyone has it but i just love the way this wheel looks triple chrome, 20x9 in the front, 20x11 in the rear, 35% tint all the way around, chrome accents on the headlights and taillights, the lorinser lip trunk spoiler and the CLS55 and AMG emblems in the rear. the dealer ordered the AMG front grill and a wood grain shift knob which should come in this week. tell me what you think...

This is typical for american taste...chrome rims are - well - bling bling. So, not very tasteful. Same for the additional chrome parts. Doesn't fit to the car. And the spoiler...spoiled it. Sorry, but this not a Mercedes!

I love this wheels on benzes, especially color matched. Looks hot chrome too. My philosophy is why buy expensive wheels to have them disappear. They're meant to stand out. Nothing does that better than chrome. Good job on the car.

why try to pretend the car is something that its not??
if you wanted a cls55 buy one, if you can't afford it then flaunt what you have and not pretend that you have something else... besides if its to impress the girls, they wouldn't know the difference nor care they see the 3 pointed star... and to those that know what a cls55 is, they will know the difference and laugh at you... and the people at the dealership when you get it serviced will prob think its a joke, car looks hot minus the 55 amg emblems and needs a drop

I acknowledge the fact that you have the resources to buy a CLS, but pimping out such a nice car like this, is really an embarrassment to the name, the owner (yourself) and maybe other CLS owners.

Its not too late to remove all that chrome and just go back to the beautiful way the car was made to be.

Word - roll the stock wheels out of the garage and back on the car - take the chrome wheels and roll them over to one of your boys who rocks a Grand Am or spiffy G6. :p

I'd drop the chrome accents around the taillights for sure and remove the AMG emblems immediately.

The CLS 500 is a gorgeous car as is. There is no shame in that game!

I dont agree with the fake cls55 badges but if you are going to do it...do it right or it will make your car look worse to those "in the know"...and they are usually the ones who will call you out.

At least trim the bumper, throw on some dual tips for a quad 55 look....I personally would debadge it, since most people wouldnt take off their 4 exhaust tip set-up and throw on a amg package/ non 55 tip setup...or only debadge the sides, although a guy on here did do that.

Also the chrome accents around the rear lights is not my cup of tea, but the spoiler is OK.

badging this car as a CLS55 is not cool. I love to find cars like this and make fun of them. Its been said here and many pther times. Only those in the know will bust your stones...those who don't know, don't care. You are not impressing anyone. The only person you might impress is the occasional moron who actually falls for your trickery. Is that the tool you want to impress?

So in short......take off the AMG badges!!!!

Did you honestly think that anyone on MBWorld was going to appreciate your rebadged CLS? The car would be perfect if you debadged it, put on the stock wheels, and removed the chrome surrounds on the headlamps and taillamps, then you would have a car I could appreciate, to each his own, but sometimes, DAMN!
