I too have this facility ,when I go through the command the only option given is - or + , unsure what it does as it still appears active regardless which way you put it ! Mine wasnt an extra it just came with the car.

Did you reactive the tire pressure measurement?
They said you have to reactive it to set up the correct pressure everytime you install the new tires.

You can do that when your car is in ignition before the car starts. Not thru MB Star Diag.
