RaceMesh is the identical weave as the Jaguar and Cadillac factory grilles!
Now talk about tacky - that thin black rain gutter mesh on some of the other MB factory models is a shame!!

I like the grill on the silver CLS, but I have to agree with Eric on this one, the car is fine the way it is. And I dont know how slick you think you are SLICK, but clearly you became a member to post those pics because 1) that was your first post, and 2) your pic is from the website selling the grills. look at it. its all tagged up.
So, if thats really your car, then either you help advertise for them or you work for them...
Nothin against you bro. Congrats on the beautiful ride. Mesh grills look nice if done right. And yours is done right. But as was said before...to each his own.
Bang....Bang...Bang

I would have purchased the black version if there were matching pieces that fit around the marker lights on each side of the center one. Communicating w/ race mesh, they tell me due to the nature of the material they are unable to cut holes in it because it would unravel.

Just checked the RaceMesh site, and they have this CLS outfitted with the lower intake RaceMesh - looks awesome IMHO.

I think you guys are unfairly attacking the original poster. I think the grill looks good but then again, I wouldn't buy it because mine has one of those "thin black rain gutter mesh on some of the other MB factory models" on my CLS 55 which is even more amusing because I the AMG car looks awesome! Lets not go overboard here guys.

THE ORIGINAL POSTER CHIMES IN.....
I have been following the race mesh grill ever since hearing it was in design a few months ago. I really liked the mesh grill on the MB sport package and thought black race mesh would be a good alternative. I opted not to purchase the mesh because it only covers the center pannel leaving the sides with the original plastic look alike mesh. According to race mesh, they could not cut the mesh around the circular light because the mesh would unravel.
