Somebody posted the dyno numbers on an S550 and the stock RWHP was 297.7....this is significantly under what the horsepower should be assuming 15-20% driveline loss....11-25 RWHP is significant to most. Has anyone dynoed their CLS550 or even heard of other MB models with the new 550 engine dyno results?

should be better once the engine has accumulated some more miles on it. Also what gear were the pulls done?

 

Break it in, change your oil @ 1200 miles and 3000 miles, the car should put down more. I am putting down the miles on my E550, so I can go dyno it when the clock shows 3001 miles. I've also checked the gear ratio on the 7SPD tranny, it's best to dyno the car in 5th gear which has the closest 1:1 ratio.
