Well in his defense, that design was first displayed at the LA auto show in 2004. So it IS 3 years old I guess if you count 2007 as a year.
I would guess 2009 would be a year for an update. I really hope the fix the blind spots.

Probably one or two years after the new E comes out...which will probably be in one or two years.....so 2-4 years IMO. But you never know, this bodaystyle is very extreme, the only reason it would change is because it is based on the E.

2006 SL 550
Buy a CLS
I have a SL 550 and love it but I need a sedan also. LOVE look of CLS. S is not really in budget. So I looking at CLS (European Delivery) or maybe E. I have even considered BMW 5 or Audi A6. (I guess mentioning those cars is considered profanity onn this sight)
I bought an Acura RL for all the goodies but it is not same a German car.
Why can't the German cars offer the techno stuff you can get on Japanese cars?
I am going to Detroit Auto Show in Jan and Frankfurt in Sept.

It is beautiful inside and out.
OK MB Fix the blind spot: Add a camera for us. Show the Japanese tham MB can out do the technology.

I thought the blind spot was going to be a big problem but it took me literally 2 days to get used to it.
The backup cam would be cool but you can get ANY shop to add that these days to your comand screen for a few hundred dollars which is probably a LOT less than MB would charge if they got the option.
