Brake Issues...

Has anyone had problems with squeaky brakes on their CLS500? I've heard/read that MBs are notorious for squeaky brakes but I've got to believe there's an aftermarket solution to this awful problem. I'm continuously told my brakes are glazed over. This may be the case but with all the mechanical and electronic issues I've had with this car in one year's time I'm skeptical to believe anything the dealer is telling me. I have a '06 CLS500 AMG pkg. Thanks!

I did see that post. However, I'm past a year and I'm past 12,000 miles. When I do change the pads out I'll try the 'break in' process recommended. It can't possibly hurt.

I'd love to know who the caliper/pad/rotor supplier is simply to avoid it in the future. I'm sure I can find that out I just haven't looked too hard. When spring rolls around and I drive with the windows open I really don't want to go another few thousand miles and have the noise start again like I'm hearing people suggest.

Mention P-B-42.10/51e FEB06 Front Brake Squealing / Grinding Noise – They will inspect the front brake discs and pressure retaining springs for contact and replace with modified parts if need be. Make certain that they confirm that the updated retaining springs, piston dampers, and brake linings are installed – all inclusive.
