Door Panel Rattle
My drivers side front door panel rattles when I drive, especially when I drive over bumps. It only does this when the window is up (closed). The rattle goes away if the window is down, even if it down just an milimeter. Does anybody know how to fix this or maybe there is a TSB on this?

I have the same problem. My driver side door rattles when I drive over bumps. I took it in and they ordered a whole new door shell. After painting and instllation, my door was still ratteling, so I took it in again. They replaced some window regulator and some other parts which reduced the ratteling but didn't solve the problem completely. I'm planning on taking it to a different dealership......MB of Long Beach, has no idea what they are doing.
I suggest you take it in. Good luck.

Still experiencing door rattle?
Mention P-B-72.10/82 MAY07 This may be due to the power window mechanism having too much play or vibrating against the door lining. A “compensating element” (foam) will be installed.

Was this issue a rattle or a squeak? I get a squeak when going over bumps - it almost sounds like a chirping sounds, and emanates from the front corner of the window where the upper door speaker, dash, window, and door all intersect. Very annoying, and I only seem to get it sometimes.

No, it's a rattle. I got it fixed by showing the TSB that konigstiger posted. I also had the squeak too. The squeak was from the plastic fuse box cover in that area. I wedged in a small piece of cardboard between the cover and the squeak went away.
