Does anyone know why the windshield is set so far back from the A pillar?
MB engineers never do anything without a reason. I don't think it was done for styling purposes. Just curious.

if it doesn't have something to do with the crumple zones, fire wall, or general safety I would be VERY surprised. Although they may have gotten lucky with the fact that it may help in aerodynamics and style.
