That's not my CLS, I have a white one, but you are right, those headlights are crazy. I will pick up the vendor info when I go to the next show and pm you.

Those Forgiato's on that black CLS are sweet. First time I seen those on a CLS.

yes, that black CLS 63 was very well done, the smoked headlights were flawless, and that was my first time seeing those wheels on that car too, but 22's are a too big for this car, 21 is my limit. I might put 22's on an S550 though.

I'm surprised we have no comments on the diamond studded SL, anyone? lol

I really like the table that attaches to the glov box, offered by that company.

I agree, but i understand the purpose, and the need to test the limit sometimes, as you all know I have the mod fever, lol.

I like your car spin, and youre wheels.

People stare at these cars even when stock, they are just beautiful.

khelawanb: Its so funny I was browsing this thread as I'm considering purchasing a CLS and noted your were from DC. I think I followed your car out of AC a few weekends ago on Sunday evening. From the expressway on down to probably Maryland House or so. Does your license plate say Snowman or something along those lines? Sit in a ton of traffic on the way home LOL? We were at the Borgata all weekend and had no idea there was a DUB show up there. If that's you... VERY sharp car. Well done.

Your CLS got best Mercedes?? No offense, but I think the judges must of been really high that day. You have no body kit even, that why Im so surprised.

My CLS got best mercedes because it has a full lorinser body kit, silver carbon fiber interior swap, custom fiber glass system in my trunk, chrome XBOX 360 in my trunk, 6 DVD changer in my trunk, red carpet in trunk to replace the grey, TV's in my headrest, TV's in my trunk lid, 21" lowenhart wheels, Nav-tv, custom painted MTX ampifires to match the car, center channel speaker in the middle of my armrest area, and in the middle of the headrest area , which were housed in fiber glass and custom painted, Brembo brake kit and rotors, custom painted white with red brembo logo's.

If you think I own the black CLS, I don't. I just posted pics of it to show other members, I own the white one.

If you need proof , just look at my posts.

No offense to you or your CLS or your ML, because they are both amazing, and your CLS definitely deserved Best Mercedes, but I have a question. Do you ever really get to use all those tvs and play the Xbox and the PS2? Obviously both your cars are show cars and I know that the tvs and all definitely help out in shows, along with the crazy sound systems, but I've just always wondered if they ever really get used. I've got tvs in my headrests from the factory, and I added a head unit that plays DVDs and videos off of my iPod, but I've found that after I used the headrest DVD players and the iPod video in the head unit once just to show them off I haven't used them at all. I also have 2 JBL 12" subwoofers but I can't even turn them all the way up because they're so loud, but I can't imagine how hard your system must hit. I mean if you use all that stuff that's great, but is it more for the show aspect than the actual getting used part?

thats a very common question, lol.

yes, I use the TV feature allot. my wife loves to watch music videos, etc while we drive together. I enjoy having passengers in my ride, and giving them entertainment is also fun. The xbox 360 in my trunk is on all day long at car shows. I use it to play games while im killin time, or i might pop in a disc with pics of my car and run a slide show.

Most people that create vehicles like mine just do it for the attention and because we wanna be different.

Sometimes people like it, and sometimes they don't, but it makes me happy to have one of the most unique CLS's on the planet.

My ML is now driven mostly by my wife, and she loves to drive around with all the TV's on. I agree that its not practical, but its just cool.

If this car was @ the LA dub show, you probably wouldnt place at all is all Im saying. Theres nothing extraordinary about your car IMO. Around here they are a dime a dozen. Good job on getting first place, I was just surprised thats all.

you did say that i had no body kit, but clearly you can see that i have a lorinser body kit, which proves that you have no idea what you are saying.

I've seen pics of the LA dub show, but no benz's like mine. Feel free to find a pic of one at the LA dub show that you think would have beat be, and i will agree.

Actually, the pics of the show are posted on DUB's website, there you will see alll cars that participated and competed. feel free to go there, and find the benz that should have won, and post it.

Why are you surprised ? there were no other mercedes benz's there with as many mods as mine.

whats so hard to understand about that ?

i agree that there are other modified Mercedes benz's in the U.S., but they were not at the show, so why are you so surprised ?

i showed with other mercedes owners that rolled in with wheels only, so why are you so surprised?

is there any one else here that thinks there is nothing special about my car?

if you dont like my car dude, thats fine, because i don't expect that everyone will.

You should really relax man, I did not get best in show, I just got best mercedes. If it hurts your feelings, you will be ok.

I think I need glasses then, because my car looks very extraordanary to me . lol

At the next DUB show, I'll tell the judge to give first place to the guy with the stock mercedes on 20's, will that make you happy ?

are you related to Ormand ? lol

Ok, here are some pics from the DUB show in LA, i pulled a few pix of some benz's at the show. I really like the white CLS with the painted roof and painted headlights with black wheels. you must realize that i have the full package. I've modded the interior, exterior, and stereo system. The cars that I see in these pics have exterior mods only, which i have done on my car.

I guarantee that i would place at a DUB show in LA

much respect to owners of the cars in these pics.

Peace

No offense to you. That white CLS is RJ de veras car, he has a full interior treatment as well, not just wheels and a kit . The Lorinser kit looks a lot like the front bumper of the non amg CLS cars, Thats why I was a little confused. Those other pictures from the LA dub show were pretty wack. There were a lot better benzes at that show. Either way, Im biased because its not an AMG car. You spend all that money on your car, when you could have just bought the AMG I would take a stock CLS55 or 63 over your car anyday. But thats just me and thats just my honest opinion. Different strokes for different folks.
In a couple of days I will post up my brothers white CLS63 that just came from the bodyshop, and even you will be impressed. Once you see his car, youll understand why Im biased and why I think the way I do.

thanx for your contribution, but you said that i did not have a body kit, so you were wrong.

I looked at all the pics my friend, and not one benz there displayed the interior. Thats a common practice at car shows you know, to display all mods.
There was nothing but benz's with rims there.

If you are biased because you have an AMG car, then you are posting in the wrong place. So I guess you think that you are better than everyone here because you have an AMG ?. well I dont think like you do bro. some people here bought 500's and 550's because they wanted to.

I have plans to modify my engine also, and it made no sense for me to buy the AMG version because you dont get points at custom car shows for STOCK parts. Why should I have bought the AMG version, when Im going to swap and change parts anyway ?

I guess the people at Car & Audio mag were on drugs also when they did a 5 page feature on my car ?

I am dissapointed to see someone from LA, a state filled with modaholics, display so much hatred.

You were right about one thing, If I wanted to buy a CLS 55, I could have.

And by the way, don't show me what your brother can do, show me what you can do.
