I don't listen to CD's in my CLS, since I have the ipod connection. Try holding down the skip button on the steering wheel. This works for me when I want to fast forward a song on my iPod.

good Luck

Mine has buttons labeled "Seek -" and "Seek +" to the left of the screen. Pressing and releasing the buttons skips full tracks, pressing and holding the buttons skips forward or back within a track.
