Called up my salesguy at MBLN he said he has no idea... talked to service, no idea. Said they could aim it against a wall for me. Factory uses light boxes, altho they didn't work to well on my car.

Sorry, I ment how do you know that your lights are not halogen?
Have you opened the lamp and checked the bulb?
When I bought my E I thought it had Bi Xenon lights, only to find out later that they were halogen. The car even had warning stickers over the lamps 25000 volts.

My old BMW 3 series came with UK spec xenon lights and were flared up to the oncoming traffic side of the road. The dealership did not believe me and it took weeks of arguing to get a new set until BMWNA finally approved it.

Wow, how is that possible? I didn't think a halogen bulb even fit in the xenon housing??

Same housing, My point is the cars come with either Bi Xenon or Halogen, from the outside they look the same. The lens and housing are the same, the Bi Xenon lamps have a ballast underneath and a small motor to adjust hight on the back of the housing. One thing is for sure the Halogen is not as bright.
