Looking to spend abt 70-75K (OTD) in June 09.

Brand spanking new car only.

I was thinking I'll be able to get a loaded E class or a decent CLS.

However, going by the recent prices, I might be able to ge the CLS for cheaper than that..or maybe shd I say, loaded for that price..

please advise.

I recognize your post from the GTO board. I sold my 06 and bought a CLS.
Obviously the CLS is my choice. With the CLS you give up a little rear seat entry head room and get a higher beltline that makes you feel like you are sitting low in the car. It took a little getting used too.

You gain an incredible look that stands out from other Mercedes. The car truly has a sculpted look that stands alone. They share the same platform so I doubt you will find much difference other than look. So, which look do YOU like better?

 

I too had a GTO and traded it in on the CLS. I would go with the CLS. The looks are undeniable. Everywhere I go someone says something about it. If you want to blend into the crowd then go with the E. If you want to stand out and be noticed then the CLS is the way to go. Either way, post pics.
