CLS Quartz clock

I just recently purchased a 2006 CLS 500 but unfortunately it did not have its owner's manual with it.

I would like to know how to set the quartz clock if at all possible please.

thank you,
Jack

you change the clock through the NAV. Press the SERV button.

tried but had an issue

How long does it take for it to set the clock? I set the time & date on the nav screen after a reset of the data & it worked til I shut the car off & then restarted the car and it was back to the old time/date. Do I have to hold the 'ok' button til I hear a beep or some sound of confirmation? I think I am on the right track but just overlooking something to 'set' it. Your advice &/or help would be appreciated.

thanks again,
Jack

I don't recall, I think you just press OK and not "back". I am away for the holidays so the car is not with me or I would have checked.

for the instrument CLUSTER you can tell it to take from the nav system. it's in the setting that you use your buttons on the steering wheels to get to... if you need specific steps i can go and try it on my car and tell you ( i just click arond and got to the settings w/o reading manual)
