Do Keyless-GO keys require programming?
Hey guys,
I'm in need of an extra Keyless-GO key and am planning on ordering one from the dealer. I've heard from different dealers different things, most say that Keyless-GO keys need to be programmed and charge another 1-2 hours of labor on top of the key; some dealers say that the key should be pre-programmed directly from mercedes and doesn't require any additional programming. My question is who's telling the truth? Can anyone answer this?

I've been told that all keys are programmed to your car before they are shipped. Dealer cannot program anything. Just tell them to order it and give it to you and see if it works. If it doesn't, ask them to "program" it, but I'm betting it will.
