CLS vs CLK

So im thinkin of trading to either a 06 CLS 500 or a 05 CLK 500

Here's a link to them, go to the second page of listing and they are in the middle.

have/had them both

we loved our clk320 , same bodystyle as the one you are looking at. my parents liked it so much , they bought the clk500 conv., by the time they bought- dealers were giving them away. the bodystyle has been out longer than the cls., no room in the back. other than the dated styling, its a great car. if you're after a coupe. we now have a cls55. much more room and easier for the child seat. i guess it depends on what your use is. the cls gets way more looks. we like the hardtop better than the vert. i guess, i would vote cls all the way.

.
I used to have an 06 clk500 and now have an 06 cls55. I guess its a matter of preference, of you want a convertible or hardtop. Will it be your daily driver? It does get cold in the winter and the convertible isnt as practical. Also the CLK uses the C platform while the CLS uses the E platform. So level wise the CLS is above the CLK. If both cars have COMMAND then the CLS will play mp3 cd's while the CLK won't. If you plan on putting on Rims the CLS will hold bigger and wider wheels.

Hope some of this helps as a starting point.

thats crazy

wholesale on your car is at least 17k. and interest seems pretty high, normally , it is in direct corelation to your credit. did you try shoping rate with your local bank? selling your trade outright? normally your bargaining power goes way up with your own financing and no trade.
