2018 E400 4matic Coupe and 2021 GLE 580
Wow; gorgeous car and superb photos. I just traded in my '07 Jaguar XKR convertible for a 2010 CLS 550 (Diamond White, AMG package, etc) and I am amazed at how well this car drives, handles, and accelerates.
Again, nice job on the photos

Was that lowered just at idle? my dealer is saying that putting 20s on a CLS 550 leave a slightly larger gap in the wheel well that can be lower about 1/2 by a Mercedes dealer so it sits lower at stand still.....and no chg in warranty etc....???
Does this make sense? I def do not want to put any lowering kit or any such thing....but would like it to sit lower when 20s are on instead of factory 18s...
Thanks...

Sounds like you dealer is offering to lower your car for you via STAR diagnostics. It's a Mercedes exclusive program and is simply a Mercedes tech plugging your car in and lowering a tad with the program. That's awesome. Many MBZdealers will not do it for you or claim they don't know what you are talking about which is bull*****. Go for it. It will not void you warranty if the dealership does it for you. Normally they charge around $100 bucks or so to do it here in the states if you can find a dealer to do it.

Made the move...08 CLS550 white, amg pkg with Giovanna 20s....but will hold off on the STAR lowering as we drive on pretty ****ty roads everyday to work so ride comfort is very important....i'm assuming a 1/2" will effect the ride even a little?

You should maybe look into the Carlsson ELM. It's 100% plug and play and it actually adjusts the ride height slightly above where you set the ride height while the car is in motion.
I'm about to pull the trigger on this unit.
