So I've been hearing the 2011 CLS will be completely renovated and a new look. If this is true the car will be out in the next 8-10 months.

Does anyone have confirmation of this?

Do we know specifically what the changes will be? Minor changes are one thing but an entire renovation and new interior and/or exterior is too drastic of a change for me to go buy one now knowing that.

Right, I've seen those renderings but obviously those aren't the actual photos and are just concepts of what people presume it may look like.

The link i have included are actual pictures of what the car will be. Using a small amount of imagination you can tell how it will look. The renderings are pointless at this point. No way they will look like that. Though I love how number 3 looks.

...and Bgthemogul..yes it will be drastic changes both interior and exterior...the CLS is on the same platform as the E class..so it will follow suite...The S Class is also due for a change 1 year later however..so

I was told the S Class isn't due for change until 2013 which follows Mercedes typical 7 year change on models. The CLS has been the same body and interior (other than minor changes) since 2004 so it was due for a complete renovation.

The S Class was just changed in 2007 so it shouldn't be up for a complete change until 2013 or so.

Production on the S started in 2005, so a new 2012 model will be introduced in 2011(Just like the 2011 CLS is being introduced in 2010). But yeah it still follows the 7 year rounds.

Typically Europe sees the new model cars in production for up to a year before it arrives in the USA. Like they had a 2005 CLS(didn't show up in USA until 06 model) and 2006 S class(didn't show up until 2007 model).
