I use these paints for wheel "curb rash."
I've tried several paint combinations for touch up of minor wheel curb rash on my CLS, GLK and former SLK55, including Wurth paints from Griot's Garage. But I have had the best success matching the factory paint with the following:
Dupli-Color Silver Caliper Paint #BCP103 and
Dupli-Color 500 degree Clear Engine Enamel #DE1636.
After light filing and sanding, apply a light coat of the silver followed immediately by a very light coat of clear. Repeat this once or more times feathered into the original paint and finish with a final light clear coat feathered into the original clear coat. I have found that it is nearly impossible to see the difference. I've also used these on the calipers.
Now if those curbs would just stop jumping out and rubbing my wheels!
