I think that is a Strut grill...not only is it overdone but they are expensive. It belongs on a Escalade or a blinged out Chrysler 300...on a CLS it just looks tacky.

Definitely a Strut grille. Available at GMP Performance https://www.gmpperformance.com/index...ID=142863&VS=1
I like a conversion a guy did on the Strut Grill where he replaced the center Strut emblem with a Mercedes Benz Start. See Reply #5 on this BenzWorld.org Forum http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w219...ml#post2301569
Also the description on the 2006 CLS500 in your link is a little off. It says it has an AMG package. Not true. It does have AMG wheels, but does not have the AMG Sport Package. You can tell by the V shape on the front Bumper Grill, the side rails with the curves at front and rear, and the exhaust pipe treatment which are all base CLS. But a unique and interesting looking car nonetheless.

CLS
Yea, Strut grill. Belongs on an Escalade like the man said. Although, I prefer the stock grill on my escalade. A little over the top for a CLS but to each their own!
