Would you tint the taillights on a cls?
Just got a cls 500 two weeks ago thinking about hid's and tint taillights. I seen a cl63 local with the tinted taillights and 20s looking sweet.

I also had mine painted. I left the backup (clear) portion the factory color and just smoked the red portion.

ima post some pics when i get off work its capri blue and i have my other two cars taillights sprayed but i like the glossy look of the tint film for my cls.

looks good, i mite go with 20% hope it isnt to dark just dnt want to reflect any red in the daytime

Dont do it.

#1. Your gonna get pulled over for it and be given a fix it ticket

#2. It looks ghetto IMHO

#3. You get rear ended and they see you have you tails tinted, automatic law suit

Is this really true? What if you just apply a very light tint? Is this still illegal/lawsuit prone? Can anyone verify?

IMHO, slightly modified taillights can still look classy. Just don't go crazy...

Got mines tinted pretty dark. Never had any problems with the police and I got pulled over atleast 10 times in my car.
