Aftermartket Radio Installation Kit
Does anyone know if there is an aftermartket radio installation kit made for the CLS 500? If so where do I get it? I have looked everwhere with no success.

CLS 500
I had an E 500 with a complete aftermarket set up and I wanted to reinstall that system into the CLS. The head unit is a Kenwood 9140 and I wanted an installation kit for it but not one that was fabricated. Sure I could install the processors and amplifier with the factory head unit but I also wanted to multiple functionality of the Kenwood that the factory head unit does not offer.

The reason you can't find a kit for the CLS is because it's listed for an E class. The same kit works in the CLS.

I was thinking for the e55 that I will gut the factory HU face and put the new screen in it (if the sizes match up) so itll look factory

Why?? Lol! Because any other aftermarket head unit will blow you away and make you feel like you are in a new car. I installed the INAW900BT from Alpine and my car sounds 10 times better than it did.

Yeah I like that HualinGan Unit, are those Mini SD slots on the bottom corners? I see the AUX and the Mini USB.. It'd be cool if you could customize the background with rotating images.

I have sold many and they run GREAT. Off course not the same qualitty feel to it as a Expensive Alpine but goor enough for a MB. And the bargain price for all it includes and the MB look of it is worth alot to me.

Wow... so glad I came across this thread.
I am looking to buy a CLS in the next few months, and my one and only gripe with this car is the out of date Nav system.
I am a huge audiophile.
I don't really care for the double din kit, it doesnt look right.
So I love the look of the Benz Nav system, but dont like the actual system.
Talk about a solution!
