Keyless Go relevance

How important is the Keyless go option when evaluating a preowned CLS? Is it a "must have" option or just something nice to have?

I didnt get it. From what I understand, it is a VERY expensive thing to try and retrofit. If there is even a slight chance you might want it, get it up front.

Keyless Go is a great feature, just keep the keys in your pocket. As their not needing to gain entrance into the car, or to start it, or open the trunk, or lock the doors.

I ask because there is a used dealer here in South Florida that has 7 '08's on his lot to choose from. They usually get 4-5 in every month so I can wait for one to come in with the options and color I want. Now I just have to decide what I want.

Yeah, keyless go is really nice. I've only owned my CLS63 for about 5 months, but I've never actually put the key in the ignition to start the car.

For me the P2 package was a must. I have parktronic (parking sensors) but I don't have distronic (adaptive cruise control).....I wish I would've held out for one with distronic, but designo graphite with white leather in a CLS63 was somewhat hard to come by.

It's a must have. The ability to never have to take your keys out of your pocket to get into or start the car is very underrated.

I only order with keyless go or comfort excess, something that should become more of a standard with lessor german brands.

A must have.

I don't have and the funny thing is, every time I go to drive the car, the key works and I go where I need to go. Must have? You decide. In fact, I wish most cars had LESS of this type of stuff. More complexity, more weight, more cost. I car about how the car looks, how it performs and it's reliability more than any single bell or whistle.

It's not a must have. But, I think it is a feature worth having. I only wish MB used a smaller, slimmer keyfob. BMW's keyfob is nice.
