I have a 2007 CLS 550, 49000 miles ... 2 months past warranty...
1. Anyone know what the cost could be for repair?
2. Is it possbile to get an extended warranty without an inspection?

if i were you i would contact your dealer and service manager and see if they can help you out since its only 2 months past - i would also call mb usa 800# and tell them what happened and how they sell a quality product etc they should help you still 2months after your warranty expired and that you are looking for help etc.

I was in the same situation as you (warranty just expired) and under a
"good will" program, the dealer fixed my CLS under warranty, saving me at least $1k.
Even though I bought the car elsewhere, they (Knopf Automotive) took care of the problem.

Thanks for the advice... I'm checking with them today. It's RBM of Atlanta and I've been getting all my service there, eventhough I didn't by from them. Just had the Class B 3weeks ago at that.
