I had just taken delivery of my new CLS350 with AMG package 3 weeks ago. The interior is Black / Aubergine. This car replaced my 2006 CLK. Having the two extra doors is definitely nice.

I have a black CLS550 waiting at the port in the US....are those 18 or 19 inch AMG rims? oh by the way, it looks beautiful congrats on your new car

A few days ago my dealer said end of this week or beginning of next week "HOPEFULLY" (he always says that, almost makes me want to go to somebody else)

I am also getting 18" rims...i was afraid that they would look too small but they look quite good on your car...any chance you could post a profile/side view of your car? Thanks in advance

Yeah my dealer told me last week, that it would right after memorial day weekend. Yesterday I asked him agian and he said any day now, but didn't know exactly when.

Retail release was today for CLS/SLK. We just got our first SLK today and two CLS are on a truck right now.

Sorry, I'm new to the forum. Do you mean "we" as in a dealership? Just wondering how you know this tidbit of info. Either way I will be calling my dealer tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

I got confirmation from my dealer today. By the way I have a launch edition on order, my only concern is I have not seen color. Do you have any pictures of the Launch Edition?

That's the rear fog light. The 3rd brake light is at the base of the rear window.

I bought the AMG package (includes AMG body styling, carpet with AMG logos, 18" AMG rims) for HKD 38500 x 2.15 (tax) = 82775 = USD 10500.

That is so expensive.....but I wouldnt buy the car without it.

In the U.S it's free.

In fact, in the U.S it's simply the only standard option, where they don't give you any others. I like it when the AMG Package costs a premium though, makes it more exclusive and interesting, while the way MBUSA does it will have all CLS's looking exactly the same as each other.

so are you saying you are better than most people who work at dealerships? Kinda sounds as though you are trying to tell us you are. Hopefully those average bears that work with you at the dealership dont read this, or maybe they should so they know you are better than they are.

I can't wait to swing by my local MB dealer to take a look. They said they had them, but when I went in after hours(don't like the salesmen hounding me) I didn't see them in the showroom or the lot. Oh yeah and the amg makes it look soo much better.
