Smile Retro fitting new 2009 model rear LEDs on cls 2006
Hi there, any one know how to go about fitting new style rear LEDs lights from 2009 model cls to a 2006 model when plugged in they only turn on reversing lights when side lights are seiches on, plugs are the same , is there a problem fitting , are they plug and play ! Any help will be great , thanks morgyn.

you need a new sam.................or rewire n sodder ur old one....

Any ideas on best way, what Sam is needed or is it worth the problems it makes changing over to LEDs .? Thank u for reply

its a Bit*h............there r a couple of people who have done it try to get two new rear sams from the 09......or u gotta re do the wire on you old one....its hard i have no idea Google it u can find the post...

Thanks tried but information is not great, think I,ll leave it, seems a big job, if I do get it done I,ll post full details

Its deff possible as my 2006 cls55 has the 2009 updated cls taillights however I don't know how it was done since I didn't do it myself
