Light Switch dial for 2012 CLS 550
Anyone know if the light selector switch on a 2012 CLS550 illuminates at night? The selector options on the dial do not illuminate and the dealer says that is by design. How can every other dial in the vehicle illuminate and the light selector switch not?

I agree! It is strange that the selector knob illuminates but the choices on the dial do not. That seems like an oversight. I normally keep mine on Auto, but there has been an occasion when I went to change it and I could not view the choices due to no light. MB needs to reevaluate this issue.
