Go to tirerack.com and read the reviews for each. They also have a chart that stack ranks them. I think that this is one of the better resources to decide on tires.

Not to jack your thread, but I was about to create a thread asking about the same question. For 19 inch on the CLS, what are the best tires? I have always used Michelin, but wondered about others, such as Toyo, Hankook, Goodyear, etc.

On the R500 I have used Toyo and Yokohama, and the Toyo's were awesome. Traction, comfort and lasted a long time.

Why is it that NO ONE seems to say anything about Goodyear tires? Are they not supposed to be of high quality as well? I will ask Luke@Tirerack and check with Discounttire as well.

I had Pirelli P Zero... and now I have Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110

255/30/20
295/25/20

No complaints what so ever. If you wanna spend more money, go with Michelin. But I will highly recommend Hankook... beautiful tries and costs a lot less compared to Michelin.

I have the Hankook's as well. About 5,000 miles so far. Wearing OK, and not noisy (yet).

a little bit of this... a little bit of that
I have had Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta (or something like that) now for two years.

Based on all the reviews of all the big brands by an independent reviewer, these tires are by far the best in terms of overall driveability, wet weather, cornering, etc.

I wouldn't use anything else.
