CLS suspention setting & ride height ? (comfort sport1 & sport2)
I have a 08 Cls 550. What does the 3 suspension setting (comfort,sport1 and sport2) do and do they effect my ride height ?
Also I use the the button to raise car in my driveway daily , would the star and module stillAlow thisoption? Ifsodoesitraiseto fullyextended height? Or does it raise to a new lower height level when pushing the raise button.

Itwillraisebaseduponthenewheight, at least with Lower Links. There is a set range that sport 1, sport 2 and comfort move between (eg. If you lower your car 20mm, your comfort setting will be lowered by 20mm as well).

Ok ,understood. With the setting sort 1 , 2 and comfort what's the lowerst one ? I wasn't sure it it lowers it of just stiffins the suspension.

Really? When I used to have airmatic on my W211 55k, I could tell that Sport II was slightly lower than Sport I while being more stiffer as you stated.

i usually drive on comfort when wife is in the car. when in sport2, i noticed the car suspension is more aggressive and would feel a lot of bumps. One thing i do have a question about is the button with c/s. when to use and when not to? any ideas?

The button next to the shifter in comfort mode will start the car off in second gear to give it a smooth feel with lower shift points . The sport mode will start car off in first gear with more aggressive gas responce and raise shift points . It's exactly what it sounds like, sport for racing and fast aggressive driving and comfort when you wanna feel like your in a Mercedes and not all the coffee.
