Interior Ventilation Noise... Squealing...
Hi,
Anyone had this before... When I put my ventilation to auto, i can heard some squealing coming from the dash. When I go manual and set the fan to higher or lower speed, the noise disappear...
What can I do ?
Thanks

Agree. The bearing in the motor wears out and causes a noise -- somewhere between a "repeating chirp" and "squeal". Motor can be replaced by removing the panel behind the glove box. Original part number is 2308200214 (Behr, $312), but part number 2118300908 also works and is available from Behr for around $200 or from TYC for around $155. Figure an hour of labor.
