They are 100% accountable!
Simply fixing it is really not enough.
My car is also at the dealer this weekend....now I'm worried.
Which dealer is this?

It Happens
Same thing happened to me a few years back. The thing that killed me was they had no intention of telling me. I always look the car over very carefully before pick up and try to avoid dealer visits except when I have no other choice.

Look at it as an opportunity to get the whole car looking new. I had them fix a few other dings and blemishes that weren't their fault while they were at it and also had them do a complete detailing so the car looked showroom new when I got it back.

Sucks but just make the best out of a bad situation and move on. Good Luck

The positive is my front bumper had some nicks now getting fully repainted, and im customizing my front lip, last but not least getting my roof wing painted for free.

My MB dealer has a funky "Valet Service" where kids pick up and deliver your car. Having seen them in action I always look my car over carefully after a repair or service, they sure as hell can't drive...
