Will a CLS500 Grille fit my 07 CLS 550?
Does anybody know if the 05-06 CLS500 grilles are the same as the 07-08 CLS550 grilles? I guess the real question is if the bumper is the same, for the grill to fit.
The 55tech site says that 04-08 use interchangeable grille models, but has anyone confirmed this?

Yes it will fit. 2009 is slightly different. I purchased 2009 2-fins grill for my 2008 but the fitment was slightly different and sold it. 55tech quality is superb.

Thanks for the response brother. I also like the 09 2-fin more than the 1-fin (it looks more 'substantial') but I read on the forums (probably was your post) that the 09 grille wont fit the 08 and older cars.

I'm in search of a three slat grill without the Star emblem and have had near zero luck finding it. Anyone know anything about this subject, or possible sources?

Just got an email from 55tech Motors 2 days ago from them (specifically Jason).
His email stated " Sorry our CLS grill does not fit on CLS550, its 500 Models only).
So what is the correct answer then?
I emailed and asked 55 tech motors in my email " does your grills fir a 2007 CLS 550 (non-Sport)?
Seems like allot of confusion to be answered before you purchase from them? Nothing on their site says it only for 500 models, the site advertises their grills for "2004-2011 CLS (W219)".
Perhaps someone here can clarify!

I thought there werent any grille changes until the 2-fin grille was introduced on 2009 models?

It will fit upto 2008. Might be a miscommunication. It will not fit the 2009 for sure as the plug are different. Yes I believe it was Jason that I dealt with 3 years ago when I bought mine. I also purchased the 3 grilles from him too which also fit perfectly.
