My new CLS and Super Concave 20's - MOZ SDC 7.2

Hello, I've been lurking on here for a bit. I just got a CPO'd CLS550 about a month ago. After seeing some of the cars on this forum, I knew what look I was after. I got in touch with my buddy at MOZ Wheels, he did a set for my E65 745i a few years back and he said he was coming out with a mesh style set with a deep lip and concaved face.

I absolutely LOVE the rims.. but I'm still trying to figure out the best way to lower the car. I went to BavarianX in Brea, they modified the links for a really good price, the car looks really good, but I'm still debating on whether or not I need to raise the car up for practicality reasons.

Rims are by MOZ Wheels (not sure what they are called yet)
-20x9.5 front - semi concaved face 1.5" lip I think about 1" concave
-20x11 rear - super concaved face 5" lip, 4" concave
-MBZ centers
-Brushed face, polished lip

It was pretty cool, you can see the computer designs, I literally could tell them how much lip vs. concave I wanted. I wanted a little bit of lip before the concave. You could also push the concave out all the way to the edge, or do less concave and more lip. Pretty cool.

Here are the pics:

In progress (mine was the first set they made)

Final pics - I will have more later once they send them to me. They are going to use the pictures for their website, which I thought was cool.

Some random pictures I took:

I will add more and better pictures of the wheels when I get them.

Thanks! Now I just have to figure out the suspension.. so it doesn't feel like I'm going to get shot through the sunroof when I hit a bump on the freeway

I drive it like that. Well, it lowers a little more after I turn the car off. But generally, the car is pretty low.. sometimes I'll hit the raise vehicle button, but on the freeway that will turn off and the car will lower itself quite a bit.

Thanks James. I was a lurker before joining here, did a lot of research before finally ending up with this car. Previous car was a 335i coupe with Stage 4 and around 500hp on some BBS LM-R's.

Car turned out amazing, I'm really really happy with it!

Thanks!

You've got me thinking about going a different route for my drop.. Thinking about the Programa now.. my drop looks awesome till the car lowers itself more on the freeway.. then I just don't feel safe lol.

Dayam!!! That turned out great! Oh and go with the Programa and don't look back. Get the V2 with remote. You can override the automatic lowering and raising at different speeds so your car looks the same whether you're in park and in and speed you desire.

Thanks man! Your car looks ridiculous as well.. Love the kit and rims. I'm definitely leaning towards the V2 ELM, especially after seeing yours and Mirage's thread. Do you have just the ELM on yours? Do your tires rub at all on wide turns on the freeway? Just want to make sure it's untraceable by the dealer in case one of my airbags blows out at one point. My CLS has a CPO warranty I don't want to mess with.

A little under 1 month. If you have Facbook or Instagram, add Moz Wheels.. has more updates than their website, and they posted a video they sent me when designing my wheels to make sure the lip/concave ratio was exactly how I wanted it. Very cool process, customer service was top notch.

You can also pic if you want to be able to see the rivets or not, the wheels were surprisingly very light as well, I wish I would have weighed them before getting them mounted.

Just to add.. here is a link to our MOZ thread online here at MB World. There are also a couple of example on our webiste of past work with MOZ.

https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-ti...rformance.html

We are working with them right now on a 19x11 rear wheel option for Black Series owners.

Let us know if you need pricing on MOZ Wheels.

Great link James! They are in the midst of a massive website re-design, I told them they need to finish it sooner than later lol. Do you have pics of their new Monoblocks? Those looked really cool too.

Also, I should mention that my wheels in certain applications and sizes they can do in 2 piece which would have been a little cheaper. Mine were done in 3 pieces to get that lip/concave I wanted.

F**K! I love mesh wheels! These are one of the sickest wheels I've seen! I been looking 4 mesh concave wheels. I think our rides look best with a lip. Man your ride really sets those wheels off. How much do they cost? How is the quality finish in person. These look good sir!

I think they retail for around $7k for the set.

Also since they were custom 3 piece I chose to have the rivets on the inside of the face rather than on the outside.. pretty cool.

Definitely not as soft as stock 18's.. but also not that bumpy either. You'll feel the road more for sure, but it's still a smooth ride. Handles better too.

Been debating between 19 & 20 myself.
