E250 CGI 2010
I don't have ICarsoft Reader,
Before my mechanic mention about that, and he had checked and its not that.
He told me that the report said there are 5 faults. But he had checked them all and they all ok.
That is how he concluded that it is the control module.
But, now I think its got to do with the car key. (some how the key i use usually not giving out signal to the car. That is my guess)
Since last weekend, I use the space key the car working fine until now.

Thank you,

Thank you,
Qpi. Thanks for posting this. My E550 coupe had this problem today, I hobbled in to a shop and got a $1,900 estimate for a new control module. They did not want to give me my car back because I would be stuck. I am using my other key and I'm not seeing any problems yet. Your decision to post this has made my week, probably my month. Have you had to replace it yet, or are you still running with the original control module?

2006 CLS55 AMG IWC
ESP malfunction on my 2006 CLS55. Some are saying it's probably the steering angle sensor. And possibly a battery in the unit? I'm an electronic technician and would love to open one up and see if it in fact has a battery. Does anyone have one lying around that they replaced? I'll pay shipping if you do. It can't be some magical device that can't be repaired. I'll post my findings and maybe we can save ourselves a few bucks?
