CLS 500 DIY Oil & Filter change
Does anyone know for sure? Also, I need to know how many quarts of oil to add after the change if it is a DIY project, and the best oil to replace it with. The owners manual doesn't give me anything on this.
Someone was talking about AMSOIL, and how good it is. I wanted to ask before going that route. If anyone has any info, let me know.
Thinking of going with the K&N air filters, but I need to know how to remove the engine cover to get to them. If anyone can help, I certainly would appreciate it.

see here, strange, but there is no dipstick:

Mightyvac is worth the money for changing oil on German cars with top mounted filters. Lets you do the whole job from the top, and saves a lot of headaches.
